ABOUT ME
Sean Hampton Bio.

Sean received his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1993 from Mount St. Mary's College in Brentwood, California. Upon completion of his master's, he went on to continue his training in orthopedic physical therapy as a resident in the Maitland Manual Therapy approach. This gave him the foundation of clinical reasoning and the medical model training to tailor his practice of physical therapy. Ever since then, he has been applying the values of evidence-based treatment to the varied techniques, theories and approaches he has been introduced to at conferences, lectures, courses and by colleagues.

While working at the Physical Rehabilitation Department at UCLA, he was able to see some of the most complex and interesting patients, helping him expand his knowledge and clinical reasoning skills. Sean then left to open ADI REHAB, INC. and recruited top therapists in his quest to help people achieve their highest potential in life sport and movement. There he grew his practice and reputation in Los Angeles, CA. Working with the major hospitals and orthopedic groups as well as the top specialists in orthopedics, spine and sport medicine, primary care, and concierge physicians.

Sean has always been interested in learning about every facet of performing at the highest level regardless of their abilities. Whether it was an elite or pro athlete recovering from an injury or surgery or a person who just wanted to walk again without pain, the goal remained the same; move efficiently, powerfully, and pain-free. Over his career he has had the honor to work with many “hard to help” cases that doctors would send over that were not resolving with prior treatments.

In sports and life, you must need to be ahead of the curve to gain that competitive edge in sports and life. Sean has been fortunate to be a co-founding partner in Neurovision Consulting LLC, a group of medical and sports performance professionals in Switzerland and Los Angeles that provide high tech cognitive-perceptual training to elite and professional athletes, business professionals and individuals who seek to improve their cognitive and visual performance in sport, life, and work.

As the years have gone by insurance payors have moved the practice of physical therapy in a direction of cost containment and never-ending insurance payment reductions, documentation, and authorization constraints. It was obvious that to provide the best care possible to his clients, it was time to move completely to a patient-centered concierge model of care. He has always practiced as a “one on one” PT, but now the only person who dictates the direction of care is the patient, the therapist, and their referring provider, not the insurance middleman. Whether it is at your office, your home, sporting facility or traveling to other cities in the US and overseas, he will be with you on your journey to move your best, perform your best and feel your best.
