1. What is Ultrasound?

​

Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to treat medical conditions such as inflammation from injuries such as sprains, tendinitis, and bursitis.

 

Ultrasound benefits:

  • Improved mobility of tissues

2. What is Game Ready? 

​

A cold and compression therapy unit with a range of innovative, circumferential wraps to integrate active cold and intermittent pneumatic compression therapies to various body parts.

3. What is Sympathetic Therapeutic Stimulation (STS) for Chronic Pain?

​

This type of electrical stimulation is applied to the sympathetic nerves of the spine, which are one of the gatekeepers of the nervous system that controls bodily functions such as pain, muscle tension, blood flow, and every organ system in the human body. It can be very effective at reducing and/or eliminating chronic pain anywhere in the body, migraines, abdominal pain, neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and other chronic disorders related to the sympathetic nervous system.

Sympathetic Therapeutic Stimulation (STS) Benefits:

4. What is Kinesio & Athletic Taping?

A taping technique that facilitates the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints. Taping techniques can be utilized to reduce pain, facilitate lymphatic drainage, optimize performance, and re-educate the neuromuscular system.

5. What is Cupping?

​

This is a form of alternative medicine in which special cups are put on the skin for several minutes to create suction. Cupping helps with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, as well as deep tissue massage.

6. What is Light Therapy?

​

Laser therapy is utilized to promote tissue repair and natural healing in and around bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints. The laser can assist with healing by relieving pain and inflammation, increasing blood circulation, stimulating nerve function, and helping to generate new, healthy tissue.
